AIESEC Michigan is structured into 6 unique teams, each offering a specialized set of skills and challenges:

External Relations: This team handles all major marketing and branding functions of AIESEC.
By networking with other local chapters and our international partners, the goal is to build a
strong image of AIESEC for our customers. External Relations is also responsible for building
the Alumni network, keeping them updated on the various events hosted by AIESEC Michigan.
The External Relations team this year is also spearheading a joint conference on Corporate
Social Responsibility with other like-minded student organizations at Michigan.

Finance and Logistics: Finance and Logistics handles all financial aspects of AIESEC Michigan.
The team also deal deals with anything that is directly related to the university. This team is for
any student who is interested in accounting, finance or any technical aspect of a student
organization. Being a member of finance and logistics not only provides a great opportunity to
learn how AIESEC operates, but it can help any student master the comprehension of any
student organization. They maintain the account balance locally and nationally, perform
project budgets, monthly finance updates, finance-logistical support to other teams, and
organize room and vehicle reservations, as well as all information systems.

Talent Management: The Talent Management Team focuses on increasing member involve-
ment and retention by developing holistic skills, providing direction, and inspiring members to
reach their potential. The team handles a three-step process: recruitment, newbie training, and
member development. The team manages the recruitment process, conducts coach groups, and
offers opportunities to bring value to AIESEC membership. Coach groups pair newbies with an
experienced member, a personal connection as well as support and direction to reach leadership
potential. Team members utilize the skills gained from their previous teams to think outside the
box to further the development of the Local Community.

Outgoing Exchange: The exchange team is first focused on recruiting people to go abroad.
They do this through special information sessions designed to give students a good idea of
what kinds of internships are available through AIESEC and how the process works. Their next
focus is on helping the accepted Exchange Participants (EPs) find internships that suit their
qualifications and preparing them for the cultural differences they will face while abroad.
Members gain great organization, marketing, and public speaking skills as well as an intimate
knowledge of the abroad process. They also work with the International Center to participate
in forums and the International Opportunities Fair.

Event Coordination: Event Coordination is in charge of creating an impact on campus.  This
team organizes two blowout events per year, monthly events to promote inter-cultural understanding and awareness, weekly activities for every GMM (General Member Meeting),
bonding activities for the Local Community, and much much more! Event Coordination engages
all of the AIESEC members and students on campus to participate in promoting inter-cultural learning while in Michigan!

Business Development:
As a supplement to AIESEC United States' national sales team, the Business Development Team works with various companies and corporations and raises
contracts to provide internship opportunities in Michigan for trainees abroad. In their mission
to develop corporate relations, Business Development members are involved in a great deal
of corporate networking. From the initial contact with a company, to the arrival of the trainee,
Business Development members are the point of contact between the company and the trainee
and manage a great deal of logistics and negotiations between the parties. If your company is
interested in taking advantage of numerous opportunities provided by AIESEC, the Business
Development Team will be there to answer all your questions, and to help you your company
find the best globalization needs.
